Four players play as two teams of two, partners opposite each other, with one score per team, to 121. The ACC writes its doubles rules in Appendix B of its rulebook.
The deal
All four cut from a fanned pack, and the low card deals ACC App. B. The dealer deals 5 cards each, and every player throws 1 into the crib, so each keeps 4 and the crib holds four. The deal goes round to the left.
The cut and the play
The player on the dealer’s right cuts the pack before the deal, and the player on the dealer’s left cuts for the starter and leads. The play goes round the table to the left, and partners score together. Partners may help each other count, and little else: the ACC limits table talk to the count.
Cribbage Street plays the two-player game.
