In short
  • The game is free and shows ads from Google AdMob between games, never during a hand.
  • There is nothing to buy and nothing to win: no in-app purchases, no chips, no coins.
  • Play fair, choose a decent name, and keep the chat clean.
  • Online deals are sealed, and your phone checks every one after the game.
  • The laws of Türkiye govern these terms.

By playing Cribbage Street you agree to these terms. We kept them short.

There is nothing to buy and nothing to win. Cribbage Street has no in-app purchases, no chips and no coins. Your rating is a record of your play and is worth no money. This is not a gambling service.

Your account

The app makes your account without a signup, and ties it to a secret key on your phone. Sign in with Google, or with Apple on an iPhone, to keep the account when you change phones. If you never sign in and you uninstall the app, clear its data or lose the phone, the key is gone and so is the account.

You may not sell or hand over your account.

Names

A name may not carry contact details, rude words, staff titles or the name of a game, and may not pretend to be someone else. The app refuses such names; we may change one that gets through.

Fair play

You may not change the app or attack the server, play with the help of a bot or a script, team up with another player to fix a game, play two of your own accounts against each other, or use a bug to win. If we find any of this, we may restrict or close the account.

Online play

Each turn has a clock: 45 seconds to throw two cards, 30 seconds to cut or to play a card. When your time runs out, the table plays for you. Three times in a row loses the game. Leaving the app does not resign: your seat waits for you while your clock runs.

If you resign, the game scores as if your opponent had pegged out at that moment, as the American Cribbage Congress rules a conceded game. Your score then decides whether you were skunked.

The deals

We seal the deals of every online game before the first card. The server shows a seal, a hash of its secret seed, and then each phone adds a seed of its own. When the game ends, the server shows its seed, and your phone shuffles every deal again from the three seeds and checks each card it saw. The result card says whether every deal matches. One tap shows every value, so you can redo the check with any HMAC-SHA256 tool. If a check ever fails, write to us with those values.

Table chat

Insults, hate, harassment, spam and scams are not allowed. The app refuses links, numbers and handles, and masks rude words. You can report any message or player, block a player (you will not see their chat or meet them again) or mute their chat on your phone. We review reports and may mute an account’s chat, for a while or for good, or ban the account from online play. A ban never ends a game under way.

Ads

The game is free, and it shows ads from Google AdMob. An ad shows only between games, when you leave the result of a finished game, and never during a hand, in a lesson or in the first hand. The ads come from Google’s network, not from us. The privacy policy says what Google’s ad software collects and how to change your choices.

Changes to the game

We may update the game, change what it does, or close the service. If we close it, we will try to say so in the app well before.

Liability

We provide the game “as is”. We cannot promise that it will run without a break or without errors. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits a liability the law does not let us limit.

Governing law

The laws of the Republic of Türkiye govern these terms.
